1:1 Tutoring
About:
1:1 tutoring sessions for neurodivergent young people who are either not attending school, or who are finding the education system isn’t suitable for them. I work in a consent-based, low-demand, and student-led way - meaning that I provide a bespoke curriculum that students collaboratively develop with me.
This can take many forms: project-based learning, play-based learning, experiential learning, or national curriculum learning and GCSE preparation. I can provide as much or as little structure as young-people need, and work collaboratively with them to form goals and work out the steps needed to reach them.
Age Range:
Ages 10-16
(if your child falls slightly outside of this age bracket please still get in touch, as I may still be able to support them).

Online Book Group
About:
These groups are designed with neurodivergent learners in mind; supporting them to utilise accessibility tools, recognise their intelligence, build their confidence, develop their analysis skills, and foster a love of reading.
Sessions take place online with a group of no more than 6 learners and can be accessed from anywhere in the UK. Over the course of 6 weeks we will read/listen to a book and then meet to discuss it.
The course is designed to be accessible for neurodivergent learners (particularly those with dyslexia, autism, or ADHD) who may have additional barriers when engaging with the world of books. As such, it is designed to be entirely discussion based and involves no written work. I record and distribute an audio version of the relevant chapters each week for students who find reading an additional barrier, although young people are also welcome to read a text.
Discussions are led by me and are designed to cover analysis skills needed in secondary school English, as well as ignite personal engagement with books.
Where:
These sessions take place online and you can join from anywhere within the UK.
Price:
This group runs for 6 weeks and costs £60-£180 for the course.

If your child falls outside this age bracket please get in touch as if I have a high enough number within an age range wanting to join I may be able to start another group.
In the future I plan to offer Book Group sessions covering key GCSE Literature texts - if this is of interest to you please get in touch with me letting me know what texts your child is studying and when they plan to sit their exams. These will go ahead once we have enough interest in a particular text.
Creative Writing Group
About:
These sessions take place in person in central Brighton and Hove. We have exclusive use of a venue that also has a room for parents to stay if young people need this. However, it is requested that parents are not in the main room during sessions - young people are welcome to come out to see you whenever they wish.
This group is suitable for young people of all levels and can be made more accessible for those that might find writing to be a barrier. Young people are given a lot of freedom to follow their inspiration, utilise prompts in ways that make sense for them, work on their own projects, and share their work in a safe and nurturing environment. All activities are designed to be low-demand, whilst also giving opt-in structure for those that desire this.
